Gold Nugget Winner will be announced next week!
The winning ticket for the Chamber’s Gold Nugget will be drawn at the Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner next Wednesday, January 25th. Tickets can still be purchased and the Nugget can be seen at the Murphys Historic Hotel in Murphys. The historic MotherLode Nugget weighs 2.65 ounces and is worth more than $5,000.00 Tickets are $50.00
49er Motors Grand Opening
Saturday, December 3rd marks the Grand Opening of 49er Motors on Main Street in Angels Camp. New owner Greg Scott has opened a Quality Used Car Lot in the location of the former 49er Subaru. The Calaveras Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and will also present a special award to former 49er owners Dick Wilmshurst and Alan Correl. Dick and Alan were in business as 49er Motors in the same location for 75 Years and have been members of the Chamber of Commerce for 55 Years. Please join us for this special ocassion.

Chamber Golf Tournament October 24th
The Chamber ‘s Annual Golf Tournament will be renamed to the Jack Boeding Memorial Golf Tournament in honor of recently passed Chamber Director and Angels Camp Mayor, Jack Boeding. Mokelumne Hill Chamber Mixer on Thursday
Mokelumne Hill will host the Chamber Mixer on Thursday, September 22nd, 2011 and I hope you will attend. The Hotel Leger will be the place to check in and then you can wander across to the newly opened Petroglyphe Gallery for some terrific appetizers and door prizes. The Mixer starts at 5:30. What a great way to network with local business people and visit Mokelumne Hill.
Caddyshack Opens Tuesday, August 30th
