Lumberjack Day Celebration, 49th Annual Parade and Logging Show Schedule of Events Saturday October 5, 2024. Most events are FREE 7:00 am to 10:00am. Lumberjack Day Breakfast at the WP Veteran’s Memorial, 22273 Hwy 26 across from the Red Church. 8:30 am Soap Box Derby on Main Street, 9:00 am Car and Motorcycle show on Main Street. All crafts, beverage, and Food Booths are open. 10:30 am Lumberjack Day Queen & King is announced at the Judges stand, (after the Soap Box Derby), in front of Blue Mountain Theater. 11:00 am Lumberjack Day Parade begins with the National Anthem Our 49th Annual CSHA sanctioned Parade, starts off with the Color Guard flag presentation. This year our Grand Marshall is Robert Dalton, and Martin “Merle” Fisher, each of these men have decades of experience in the logging and timber industry here in Calaveras County.
