Lumberjack Day Celebration, 49th Annual Parade and Logging Show Schedule of Events Saturday October 5, 2024. Most events are FREE 7:00 am to 10:00am. Lumberjack Day Breakfast at the WP Veteran’s Memorial, 22273 Hwy 26 across from the Red Church. 8:30 am Soap Box Derby on Main Street, 9:00 am Car and Motorcycle show on Main Street. All crafts, beverage, and Food Booths are open. 10:30 am Lumberjack Day Queen & King is announced at the Judges stand, (after the Soap Box Derby), in front of Blue Mountain Theater. 11:00 am Lumberjack Day Parade begins with the National Anthem Our 49th Annual CSHA sanctioned Parade, starts off with the Color Guard flag presentation. This year our Grand Marshall is Robert Dalton, and Martin “Merle” Fisher, each of these men have decades of experience in the logging and timber industry here in Calaveras County. We are honored to have them be are co-Grand Marshall’s for our 49th Celebration. 12:00 pm (approximately after the parade) The Children’s area opens. Petting Zoo, Quilt Show, and Flower Show. Live Music at the Community Garden Stage Featuring live dance band “The Blowbacks”, 174 Spink Rd. 1:00 pm The Logging Show and competition, and Horseshoe Tournament 1:00 pm Parade Awards Ceremony for all parade entries takes place at the BMCYF Community Garden Stage 3:00 Raffle Winners Announced from the Logging Show, Lions Club, and Benefit Club. 5:00 pm the 49th Annual Lumberjack Day is officially closed. All entry forms for the Car Show, Parade, Soap Box Derby, and booth spaces are available on the website LumberjackDay.info . A shuttle Van from the parking lots on Hwy 26 to Main & Pine St in.
