Fortunately, Payne's death greatly inflates the value of his work. Unfortunately, his estranged wife, Maggie, must sell it all to avoid bankruptcy. Just days before the auction,

Maggie and her high-strung gallery manager, Richard, host high profile guests for a private showing.

The guests include influential newspaper maven, a real estate mogul, a Trent, a gorgeous but dim-witted soap opera actor, a streetwise cocktail waitress and a humorless art critic.

Even though there’s a near-blinding snow storm raging, things seem to be going relatively well, that is until the arrival of unexpected guest, whose timing couldn’t be worse and guests who aren’t who they seem to be.

There’s plenty of intrigue, and plenty of laughs.
