HomeTown Radio began broadcasting as KNGT-FM over 30 years ago and has been a fixture in the foothills ever since, providing local news, community access and emergency broadcasts. Over the years, HomeTown Radio has featured a wide range of local talent, including Cedric Klute’s Tales of the Motherlode , the Master Gardeners’ Minute, Steve Muni’s HomeTown Kitchen, high school football and teen programming, jazz and oldies music by local DJs, and weekly broadcasts by local clergy. HomeTown Radio has been heard for the past several years over the Internet and on an SCA subcarrier channel.
